Mercedes-Benz Mobility is the financial and mobility service provider of the Mercedes-Benz Group. We offer our customers services for the financing, leasing and insurance of cars and vans. In addition, as a mobility division, we make vehicle use flexible - through rental and subscription models, fleet management and digital services for charging and payment.
We are drivers in the industry and have a firm eye on the major trends of our time: Electrification, sustainability, digitalization and artificial intelligence.
At the heart of our offer are financing, leasing and insurance. As a financial services provider, Mercedes-Benz Mobility supports the sales of the Mercedes-Benz Group's automotive brands worldwide. Mercedes-Benz Bank is part of Mercedes-Benz Mobility and one of the leading car banks in Germany offering around one million customers financial leeway.
Our vehicle financing and insurance services are precisely tailored to our customers. We also contribute this know-how to make the switch to electromobility as easy as possible for them through attractive financing, leasing and insurance solutions. This includes the financing and insurance of the charging infrastructure as well as guarantees and rental solutions for batteries. Mercedes-Benz Mobility currently finances or leases every second new vehicle of the Mercedes-Benz Group worldwide - and the international portfolio continues to grow steadily.
We make electromobility possible - not only with appropriate offers for financing, leasing, subscriptions and rentals. We want to make the charging experience as convenient as possible for our customers. Mercedes me Charge gives customers worldwide access to more than one million charging points. With the establishment of our own global Mercedes-Benz High Power Charging network, we are massively expanding the range of charging options. We are also working with six other leading automakers to build a joint charging network in North America.
In addition to public charging, we are promoting charging at home and in the business sector. We already provide a charging solution to our customers and will expand this offering. For our business customers, we are currently working on several elements of our charging solutions.
Through our subsidiary Athlon, we also provide innovative and first-class mobility solutions to corporate customers. Today, more and more companies are concentrating on their core business and leaving the efficient management of their vehicle fleet to the specialists. Our subsidiary Athlon is one of the leading providers of vehicle leasing and fleet management in Europe and is responsible for more than 400,000 vehicles. At the same time, sustainability and flexibility are also becoming increasingly important in the mobility of corporate customers. That's why, among other things, Athlon offers numerous solutions for an uncomplicated entry into electromobility and develops additional tools for sustainable fleet management.
We offer customers with a high demand for flexibility and first-class individual mobility various rental and subscription models. Through Mercedes-Benz Rent and Mercedes-Benz Vans Rental you can rent Mercedes-Benz cars and vans. In addition, customers can enter electromobility with us in a particularly flexible way. Our all-inclusive subscription offers for Mercedes-Benz EQ models are aimed at all those who are looking for a simple and convenient way to get to know the advantages of electric mobility in their own everyday life without having to make a long-term commitment. We also offer various rental and subscription models for vehicle fleets through our subsidiary Athlon. Athlon Rent provides full-service solutions from 24 hours to 24 months rental period. With Athon Subscription, our customers have access to a wide range of preconfigured vehicles at short notice.
With our financing, leasing and insurance solutions, we make it easier for our customers to access the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Through our subsidiary Athlon, we offer corporate customers innovative and first-class subscription, rental and mobility solutions.
For private customers with a high demand for flexibility and first-class mobility, we also offer rental and subscription models.
Through joint ventures and investments such as FREE NOW, CHARGE NOW, StarRides and Blacklane, we meet further mobility needs of our customers.
Mercedes-Benz Mobility and the BMW Group are jointly driving digital mobility solutions forward with their joint ventures: FREE NOW offers ride-hailing and multi-modal mobility. In CHARGE NOW, the joint venture for electric vehicle charging, the energy company bp has been the third shareholder since 2021.
Through the premium ride-hailing offers StarRides and Blacklane, we offer limousine driving services with luxury vehicles together with our partners: StarRides is a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz Mobility and Geely Technology Group. The StarRides fleets in ten Chinese cities consist of Mercedes-Benz S-Class, E-Class and V-Class vehicles. In addition, Mercedes-Benz Mobility has been involved in the Berlin-based chauffeur service Blacklane since 2013.
